Tools of the Trade...
So, what are you guys smoking with these days and what's the history behind them? I prefer a mix myself. Got my old reliable fat blue glass bong, my Vapor Bro's vaporizer, my big blue hookah (fired up for those special occasions), my green vapor globe bong for those hash nights, a dugout box and a few random pipes.
The vaporizer I got over a year ago when I first went medical for renal disease and it was a godsend. Simple, bare bones, but effective. The thick blue bong I purchased in Ocean Beach at a small head shop on Newport Ave and it's served me well for many years. The hookah I purchased at a garage sale a few years back for $40! The seller said that her son who had since passed away had gotten it back in the late 70's when he has backpacking in the Middle East. Funny how her memories were only worth $40 but oh well... I know the piece probably has history and I bet the original owner went through some crazy shit to get it to the US as it's heavy as hell. I will honor it well with only the best... The vapor globe bong I won from an X-Mas raffle at the OB Collective. Crushing hash hits from this badboy when I bust out the blow torch... The Dugout I got from The Black in OB during the mid 90's and has been on many a backpacking trip, SD Zoo and Balboa Park excursion.
These items plus a few random pipes are my tools of choice and I think I've got my ass pretty well covered in terms of variety. They may not be the most expensive or extravagant on the market, but I want for nothing with a fat sack of green and them at my side. So, what are you smoking with and what's the history behind the items?
Happy Toking!

I believe there was a thread already like this, "Post your piece" or something I don't know. Might be worth resurrecting though and adding to instead of starting a new one. Good call though either way BMC I like to see what everyone is using.
