A crude yet effective example of the coming results of "Obama's Plan"
Hey All,

If you're reading anything from this forum, you've obviously heard something about Obama and his present and future plans. He has some seriously delusional ideas about 'The Redistribution of Wealth' and is lacking heavily in economics.
I'm passing on some crude yet true to the core examples of what does and does not work. Man is hardwired on getting a reward for work/effort and taking that away is destructive.
Here are the examples. (The pilgrim info should still be easy to find for now.... no idea what the 'new' history books will say in a decade or so. Keep in mind that history is written by the ruling 'Winners')
The first example are the first pilgrims that came to America. They almost perished during the first 2 yrs. because everyone shared everything equally - whether they worked or not. After the system changed to if you want to eat, you must work, life got better.
The second example is much more recent.....
An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before but had once failed an entire class.
That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.
As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.
The second test average was a D! No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.
The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
Could not be any simpler than that.
Though these examples seem simplistic they're actually very accurate representations of what happens when you implement systems that 'Equalize' everyone. Our country was founded with this information already available and known. Personally..... I say impeachment is the right course! For pro like results your first grow, I recommend Lucas Formula and Ebb&Flow or Drip

well... i see what your sayin. but your exaggerating... but no one plans to "equal" things out.. no one wants to take the average and give it to everybody. simply take more from the top what 10% max of our country. Which by the way.. doesn't hurt all that much. Also what it does is make it so that the distribution of wealth doesn't go all one way and all the rich have their businesses still running and not getting bailed out by people like you and me. Ever hear the phrase "it takes money to make money". well thats almost true.. those with money have much more oppertunity to make money. Although i kind of disagree with this method of taxing more to the rich its the best we can do right now.. I know i can't be taxed any more. i got nothin more to take.. I ended up losing my job because the rich fuck up on top decided that he wasn't makin enough to take 2 month vacations and needed to let people go.
I say we make almost a flat tax. Tax everything the same except luxeries such as big ass houses, sweet cars, boats, the non-necesities in our lives. tax all the normal stuff the same, and don't tax necesities like electricity, water, food, that kinda thing -

When it all goes down....when we reach our final destination.....they wont ask what you made....but only what you gave.
If you know at the end of the day your busting your ass to support yourself and contribute to the world, you should be content atleast knowing you are doing your best.

lmao.. its amazing that us that aren't worried about re-elections can come up with realistic logical solutions and those that are worried about how many people will vote for them won't do a damn thing to fix anything. The definition of insanity is trying something over and over expecting a different result, which is exactly what our goverment "representatives" keep doin.

Hmmm. There are definetly two sides to that argument. Ever hear the expression 'a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link'?

From the very beginning, the structure of the U.S. govt was to minimize it's size and power. Our forefathers were battling a govt just as steeped in crap as ours is now and were fully aware of what too much power does to govts and how it affects it's people.
Thomas Jefferson said it best. I can't quote it exactly but he said something along the lines of....
A govt that is big enough to give you what you want, is a govt big enough to take away everything you have.
The structure was corrupted over 100 years ago (I dont' know the exact dates) and it didn't happen overnight.
The Federal govt has no business being involved in your personal business and was never designed to be such. The issue is that, somewhere along the way, the politicians (and many citizens) of this country have mostly forgotten that the governmental power exists solely because we, THE PEOPLE, grant it to them.
It's time for the population of the United States of America to stand up and shout to our 'leaders' ....
"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore! Get the hell off my property and out of my personal life. Re-focus the resources we earn for you on Family, Ethics, Education and Empowerment. It's what this country needs to get us back on our feet and productive again!"
I'm ON welfare right now. I injured my back when a car decided to make my car do 360's. During the last year and a half I've been at the mercy of the system and if I left it up to the system to 'Make sure I'm taken care of" I wouldn't be able to pick up a gallon of water off the floor today. The "system" is already overloaded and about to burst and giving this cut rate care to everyone is not a solution.
I spent a lot of that time around hundreds of different people and was absolutely stunned at the number of people that are simply collecting checks and waiting around to die. Monthly paychecks for the pharmaceutical companies with the pills they're taking and contributing absolutely nothing positive to society and, more often than not, reflecting perfectly the broken environment around them.
Family, Education, Ethics and Empowerment are the answer. Most of the population are lacking essential information that would empower them to be motivated and productive. You can't force this on people though (can't help those who don't know they need help. You can only help those that are seeking it.) so you need to start young.
Start teaching the children the importance of Family, Ethics, Education and Empowerment and our nation will begin to heal itself on it's own. People educated with true and relevant information have always, and will always, tend to make the proper choices. It's time our govt used it's powers of propaganda to help the people for a change.

The next time you run across a real piece of crap in society, take a moment to think about what kind of person they would be if they had been raised and educated in a way that maximized their positive potential.
Every so often I wonder what I would have turned out like if I'd been born to some of the parents of screwed up people I've met in the past. Makes me shudder and feel sorry for their loss. For pro like results your first grow, I recommend Lucas Formula and Ebb&Flow or Drip

And thats why I love Canada. Oh, by the way, When Bill Clinton was in Office, your Government was never so good, its that stupid Impeachment crap that slowed him down, and never let him do his job. This is right from the White House web page,
During the administration of William Jefferson Clinton, the U.S. enjoyed more peace and economic well being than at any time in its history. He was the first Democratic president since Franklin D. Roosevelt to win a second term. He could point to the lowest unemployment rate in modern times, the lowest inflation in 30 years, the highest home ownership in the country's history, dropping crime rates in many places, and reduced welfare rolls. He proposed the first balanced budget in decades and achieved a budget surplus. As part of a plan to celebrate the millennium in 2000, Clinton called for a great national initiative to end racial discrimination. -

listen up gang, presidents havent actually run the country since the goddamn 60's. id even argue that it goes even further to the abolishment of the gold standard with the federal reserve act. presidents are merely puppent who are put into office by the "power elite". these people regulate the economy (throught the fed reserve). Really folks. it wouldnt have been much different if mccain had won. The Democratic and Republican parties are just the two heads of one monster. Do some reading up guys and youll see what im talking about. But for now, dont call me crazy. peace
